Hello there, you found me! I'm LaShauna Johnson, a New York-based brand copywriter specializing in editorial content, campaign development, and branding strategy. Throughout my professional career, I have worked with and generated revenue for top companies including Amazon, Macy's, and InStyle, among others. I have expertise in retail, e-commerce, and digital media with strong interests in fashion, beauty, home, technology, food, television (traditional and streaming), new media, and more.

A little about me? Well, I'm a media strategist, content editor, and branding specialist with a love for writing. In the last 15+ years, I have gained knowledge in social media, content development, digital strategy, and much more. I start every project, launch, and campaign brainstorm by putting myself in the consumers' shoes and thoughtfully crafting language and visual storytelling to answer the "why" for every purchase.

Why is it important to think like the customer? Because it's what generates revenue and builds trust. Converting every search, every browse, every "add-to-cart moment" into a sale is a critical bottom line. That's where I come in. I  translate the trends, the products, the promos, and more into content that customers can relate to. I help customers shop and checkout, learn about innovative programs, and concisely explain every digital and print experience. 

 

And let's not forget, I'm a consumer myself. Go figure! Thinking of what gets me to click through is an important "secret ingredient" to my success. My market research and competitive analysis are always punctuated by my experience as a shopper. I've written copy, strategized campaigns, and developed content for launches and programs that have accrued over 80M clicks and generated millions in revenue. I've worked with and alongside the best teams at companies such as Amazon, Macy's, and InStyle. With my help, you'll garnish clicks and views will convert to sales. I'll help you capture new customers while retaining those you have already acquired.
